In the November election Colorado will vote on whether to accept the proposed illegality of late-term abortion. Archbishop of Denver Samuel Aquila, denounced a million-dollar investment by Planned Parenthood to maintain the legality of abortion up to and including the end of pregnancy.
Currently Colorado allows abortions even up to the time of birth. However, Proposition 115 seeks to limit the gestational age of the fetus at which an abortion can be performed, prohibiting these practices after the infant reaches 22 weeks, as reported by Breitbart.
In the next election, voters will be able to choose whether or not to support Proposition 115. If a majority is reached, abortions will be prohibited after 22 weeks unless the doctor indicates that continuing the pregnancy would put the mother’s life at risk, which rarely happens.
Even in 2019, 30,000 American doctors signed a document declaring that it is a lie that abortion is health care for mothers. According to the document there is no scientific argument that validates an abortion after 20 weeks of gestation to save the mother’s life.
“After 20 weeks fertilization age, it is never necessary to intentionally kill the fetal human being in order to save a woman’s life. There is no medical reason to intentionally kill that fetal human being through an inhumane abortion procedure, e.g. dismembering a living human being capable of feeling pain, or saline induction, which burns off the skin, or feticide with subsequent induction.”
According to Ballotpedia, the campaign that supported Proposition 115 managed to raise $257,398 in contributions mainly from religious and pro-life organizations such as the Coalition for Women and Children, Alliance for Life, End Birthday Abortions Colorado, and Coalition to Help Moms and Save Babies.
While opponents of the proposal claimed to have raised $6.6 million. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Action Fund, the largest donor, contributed $1.57 million.
Aquila, one of the people leading the fight to ban late-term abortions, posted on his Twitter account on Monday: “#PlannedParenthood & the abortion industry are spending millions to defeat Prop 115, but the virtue of charity & truth are on our side.”

In a few days the new president of the United States will be announced only one of the two candidates defends the life of unborn babies, that is Donald Trump, who on several occasions expressed his pro-life ideology.
“As most people know, and for those who would like to know, I am strongly Pro-Life, with the three exceptions—Rape, Incest, and protecting the Life of the mother—the same position taken by Ronald Reagan. We have come very far in the last two years with 105 wonderful new…”
