Instagram’s reigning queen Ariana Grande has a new challenger. As you can see, it’s none other than Kylie Jenner. By People.com‘s count, she’s now the first woman in the world to have more than 300 million followers on Instagram.
Despite the beauty mogul’s few posts on Instagram, she achieved the milestone. Jenner’s most recent Instagram image revealed she’s growing a baby, which she showed a week ago. She and Travis Scott are expecting their second child.
Jenner wore a white button-up top with ripped-open pants captioned “I am woman.”
Stormi and Scott’s 3-year-old daughter is also part of her family.
In the time leading up to that, Jenner hadn’t posted since she shared a picture of her growing baby bump on December 31.
As she awaited the new year ahead, Jenner’s post reflects on the last year and its blessings.
Additionally, on the eve of Christmas, she shared a video of her mother singing “Jingle Bells.” on YouTube.
Ariana Grande has held the position of Instagram’s most-followed woman. The pop star has amassed 146.5 million followers by February 2019.
With 388 million followers on Instagram, Cristiano Ronaldo is the only other individual to attain such a high number of followers.
For the last two months, Jenner has kept a low profile on Instagram. She took a break from social media after Scott’s Astroworld Festival gig in Houston on November 5 resulted in the deaths of ten concert-goers.
