The new Politburo Standing Committee of the CCP Central Committee was announced on October 23. Every member is close to Xi Jinping. Experts predict that the CCP is on the verge of collapse. At the same time the word “end” became a hot word on mainland Weibo, but the word was quickly blocked on the internet.

On October 23, Xi was re-elected for a third term as the leader of the CCP, holding supreme power. The Politburo is made up almost entirely of Xi’s henchmen.

Among them, 63-year-old Shanghai Party Secretary Li Qiang is expected to take over as premier of the State Council, while Zhao Leji is expected to be the chairman the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.

Next is 67-year-old Wang Huning, a prominent Party theorist who is currently preparing for his second five-year term as a member of the Politburo Standing Committee.

The last three members of the Committee include Cai Qi, 66 years old, the current Party secretary of Beijing; Ding Xuexiang, 60, Xi’s chief of staff; and Li Xi, 66 years old, incumbent Party secretary of Guangdong province.

In the list of 24 members of the 20th CCP Central Leadership Body announced, Hu Chunhua, the last hope of the Youth Union, was suddenly eliminated from the Standing Committee, and is not even a member in the Politburo Committee.

In addition, the elimination of Li Keqiang and Wang Yang was relatively unexpected. Previously, the rumors about this list mostly mentioned Li and Wang in which Wang might be the future third leader of the CCP and assumed the position of vice premier of the State Council.

Many are not optimistic about this list. Internet celebrity Hu Caiping frankly said that there is currently no one on the Standing Committee who really understands the Chinese economy, and that the Chinese economy is in recession. Taiwanese entrepreneurs should find a way out and get out of the Chinese market as soon as possible.

The mainland network also carries a pessimistic color. The word “end” has become a hot word on Weibo when netizens left comments such as: “It’s over,” “It’s over, can’t be saved anymore, run while you still have time to go.” “It’s over, it’s over, speed up or die!” and finally “Back to the last century overnight!”

However, the word “end” was soon blocked on Weibo.

Current affairs commentator Wang He told NTDTV that the congress was the driving force behind the CCP’s downfall.

Whether it’s political reports or staffing both inside and outside the Party, at home and abroad, the situation is  unstable, and the CCP’s tendency to go the opposite direction will only increase. Ordinary people don’t necessarily read the reports or care about the 20th Congress, but maintaining stability for the 20th Congress has made everyone a victim.

Wang also said that the scene with Hu Jintao being escorted out of the congress caused a sensation and quickly spread around the world, with many people feeling that a change was imminent, a major political change. For many experts, the Youth League faction has been annihilated, and the only one left, Hu Chunhua, has failed to retain his position as a member of the Politburo, which shows that the political map of the CCP has been drastically rewritten. In addition, Beijing is continuously putting pressure on Europe and the United States, with increasing calls to attack Taiwan. At the same time, the CCP is also preparing for war and promoting restructuring global supply chain architecture. The whole situation in China could change a lot in the next few years. The chances of mainlanders emigrating can be significantly reduced. People’s general sense of the end is growing rapidly.
