According to the State Supervisory Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Chinese Communist Party, China Government expelled Xu Qing from the party and public office, former member of the party group and deputy mayor of Yinchuan City Government in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on February 9.

Xu Qing is suspected of taking bribes and seeking personal gain with power.

The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection notice said: Xu Qing is dealing with private entrepreneurs, providing false information to confront censorship; bribery; not reporting personal matters as required; not performing his duties properly; using his position and authority to seek benefits and approving of disqualified projects. 

The Standing Committee of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Ningxia Autonomous Region decided to expel Xu Qing from the party; the Supervisory Commission of the Autonomous Region gave him the punishment of dismissal from public office; seized his disciplinary and illegal income; transferred his suspected crimes to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution according to law.

On the same day, At noon on February 9, the official released news that  Xiong Yanbin, a member of the CCP and deputy director of the Shanxi Provincial Geological Exploration Bureau, was under investigation.

The Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision said:

Xiong Yanbin is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and is currently under the Provincial Commission’s review and supervisory investigation.

Xiong Yanbin became a member of the CCP and deputy director of the Provincial Geological Survey Bureau in September 2021. The primary responsibility is to engage in public welfare, essential, strategic geological survey work, mineral resources exploration and hydrogeology, engineering geology, and environmental, geological survey work to serve local economic development.

The Peng Mei News reported earlier that Xiong Yanbin was ranked fourth in the leadership team of Shanxi Provincial Geological Survey Bureau.
