The ancient Chinese believed in the principle of karmic retribution, which states that “good is rewarded with good, and evil is punished with evil.” Although many Chinese lost their spirituality due to communism nowadays, we can see how this ancient principle is fulfilled in the infamous “610 Office.”
From 2020 to June 30, 2022, 38 directors among 610 Office authorities mysteriously suffered all sorts of calamities after assuming their duties. They were arrested, fired, prosecuted, sentenced, and some died of a terrible disease or COVID.
The 610 Office was a powerful para-governmental organization created to persecute, torture, and kill Falun Dafa practitioners. Similar to the Nazi Gestapo, it was a highly classified unit, an illegal secret agency, and its existence violated Article 36 and Article 89 of the Chinese Constitution. Moreover, the establishment of this agency was not approved by the National People’s Congress, the highest authority and legislative body in China.
It is worth noting that Falun Gong, also called Falun Dafa, was introduced to Chinese society in 1992 by Master Li Hongzhi and became the most popular practice in China within a few years.
Its profound teachings based on the principles of Truth, Benevolence, and Tolerance and a series of 5 qigong exercises reminded the Chinese people of their ancient spiritual tradition. According to official Chinese records, an estimated 70 to 100 million people practiced qigong in 1998.
However, this popularity was reason enough for Jiang Zemin to launch in July 1999, unprecedented persecution, putting the entire state machinery into persecuting good people.
The 610 office: Created to persecute, torture, and murder practitioners
In 1999, Jiang Zemin established the Central Leadership Team to Handle the Falun Gong Problem. Its director was Li Lanqing, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Vice Premier of China. Its deputy directors were Luo Gan, a Politburo member and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee (PLAC), and Ding Guangen, a Politburo member and head of the Central Propaganda Department.
This Central Leadership Team for Handling the Falun Dafa Problem was named Central Office 610 after the date of its creation: June 10.
The Central PLAC drafted the general guidelines for the prosecution policy, while the 610 Office executed them.
The PLAC, led by Luo Gan, who became the CCP’s highest authority, directs the police, procuratorate, courts, justice, and state security agencies. It operates as a privileged institution above the law, and 610 Office agents were tasked to threaten, harass, arrest, and brutally torture Falun Gong practitioners. Even to death by beating, whipping, electric shocks, freezing, restraint with ropes, long periods of handcuffing and shackling, burning with fire, burning cigarettes, burning irons, being hung with handcuffs, prolonged periods of standing or kneeling, being poked with bamboo or metal wires, sexual abuse and rape, and brainwashing with drugs, among other perverse methods.
One of the main tactics used by the 610 office to suppress practitioners was to establish brainwashing centers to “transform” them, to force them to renounce their faith, often through torture. These brainwashing centers are spread all over China. To deceive international observers, these centers were called “legal education schools” or “education and transformation schools.”
According to an independent investigation undertaken by David Matas, an international human rights lawyer, and the late David Kilgour, former Canadian Head of State for the Asia Pacific, published in 2016, the 610 Office played a primary role in the forced removal of organs from Falun Dafa practitioners. After long hours of torture, the agents take the practitioners to be examined in military hospitals to find out the condition of their bodies and their compatibility so that they can sell their organs in the lucrative transplant industry.
To avoid leaving evidence, the agents of the 610 office incinerated the bodies. Still, a new profit-making method emerged: selling the bodies of the murdered practitioners for plastination to the Body Worlds company and Premier Exhibitions, which profit by holding “art” exhibitions worldwide.
The factional struggle in the CCP meant a restructuring of the 610 Office
Under the facade of an anti-corruption campaign, the current Chinese leader, Xi Jinping, managed to get rid of officials from the Jiang Zemin faction and thus restructured various institutions, including the national security system, operated by opponents answering to former leader Jiang Zemin. In 2018, the 610 Office functions were taken over by the PLAC and the Ministry of Public Security.
However, this restructuring or disappearance of the 610 Office did not mean the end of the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners to date. The Minghui.org website has reported several perverse cases that are still operational in some states.
Chinese policy analyst Chen Simin noted that Xi Jinping’s effort to disband the 610 Office and “punish” officials who participated in it has more to do with distancing himself from the bloody legacy left by former leader Jiang Zemin.
Whatever leader Xi Jinping’s reason for punishing these criminal officials, the penalties they have received do not seem to be sufficient for the crimes they have committed, which is why divine justice has begun to act by punishing everyone who worked for the evil agency, the 610 office.
