In the face of the long-term lockdown in Shanghai, people are barely able to leave their homes to go to work, shop, and some of that, get a haircut.
Recently, videos of people queuing in front of fences, waiting for their turn to have their hair cut, have gone viral on social media.
In a video, people gathered outside the barbers’ residences. They wore hairdressing gowns and stood close to the stonewall. Others stood in line, playing on their phones while waiting for their turn. Some interested passers stopped to capture the incident.
In another video, a woman stood behind the white and green corrugated iron fence to do haircuts for her customers. The customer and the haircutter had to stand the whole process. People placed a little chair next to the wall and took turns cutting their hair while standing on it.
Some passers gathered outside the woman’s house and filmed the interesting scene.
