Before the 20th National Congress, the internal struggle within the Party is constantly increasing with new tricks. According to Apollo.com, Jiang-Zeng’s faction targeted Xi Jinping the way Zhou Enlai was against the Kuomintang (Chinese Nationalist Party) back then.
Sima Lu was an expert in the history of the Chinese Communist Party. He joined the CCP in 1937 at the age of 18, became the librarian of Yan’an Anti-Japanese Military University at the age of 19, and served as director of the Yan’an office of Xinhua Daily at the age of 20. After witnessing the brutal struggle within the Chinese Communist Party in Yan’an, he fled the so-called “holy land of the revolution” in 1943. The old man, who was known as a “witness to the history of the Communist Party,” died in New York on March 28, 2021, at the age of 102.
He said that Zhou Enlai was a master of united-war newspapers, he used the “neutral” image of the United Front newspaper as a cover for the Communist Party’s secret service activities”.
In the way the CCP used Zhou Enlai’s tactic against the Kuomintang back then, some people in the Communist Party are starting to use this tactic against Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of the CCP today.
The Dovetail, which has a background in Jiang Zemin’s and Zeng Qinghong’s factions, published an article on the 5th, “The Demonized “Dynamic Zeroing” and the Poorly Understood Chinese Model”, referring to the Covid Zero policy. From the headline, it looks like the Beijing-based foreign propaganda organization is going to make a gesture this time to clean up the ground for the Chinese Communist Party authorities.
However, after reading this article the truth is not like that.
The article starts by directly touting Xi Jinping’s government “‘dynamic zeroing’, arguing that it contains a strong materialistic dialectic.
The article goes on to fervently state, “The reason why many people do not understand, or mistakenly believe that ‘dynamic clearing’ is the same as ‘clearing’ and ‘zero infection’ is looking at the problem with subjective, one-sided, fragmented, static, isolated and fragmented thinking.”
The article then states that “China has indeed delivered a satisfactory response in terms of epidemic prevention and control, with less than 5,000 deaths so far in China, the first country with a large population to have an outbreak, when the global death toll from the epidemic exceeded 5.7 million.”
At this point in the article, it can be said that this is a rare reveal of the site’s original form as a major Communist Party outreach. But in turn, it proves that all of the website’s previous explicit and implicit attacks on Xi have nothing to do with justice or democracy and freedom, but are simply an internal power struggle within the CCP.
However, just as Zhou Enlai “used the United Front, his slightly gray rhetoric” and his image of “neutrality” to cover for the CCP’s secret service activities, this article, after paving the way with praise and “cover”, begins to troll Xi Jinping in the last paragraph of the article by interviewing experts and mocking ‘dynamic zeroing’.
Zhou Enlai and others used this tactic back then and played an important role in overthrowing the Kuomintang government, and now Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong are going to use it again to try to overthrow the current CCP General Secretary.
