In an interview with ‘The Ingraham Angle,’ Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed laws to limit China from buying up large amounts of property in the Sunshine State and stop undue influence from rogue governments, such as the CCP.
According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Florida remained the top destination for foreign purchasers for the 14th consecutive year, accounting for 24% of all international purchases. The Chinese were the biggest buyers, surpassing Canada with $6 billion in U.S. property this year.
According to DeSantis, the next legislative session will probably see legislation passed by him and other governors. He said that the US doesn’t necessarily have a lot of money, but he want to be sure that US is breaking links to avoid backing our main rival.
DeSantis said Tallahassee had banned Chinese “Confucius Institutes,” which allowed CCP influence and propaganda into the higher education system.
