China Today posted a video on May 25 about a sandstorm in Qinghai Province.
There are dust and sand in some parts of Golmud, Qinghai, with visibility of fewer than 100 meters.
The sandstorm lasted for about an hour, and vehicles were temporarily at a standstill due to low visibility.
The meteorological department detected abnormal weather on May 23. They pointed out a vast sand wall dozens of kilometers wide in the city’s southeast.
A thick layer of sand formed on the road, accompanied by a fierce roar from the howling wind, and drivers tried to drive away from the sand wall.
