The “White Paper” movement against the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP’s) “zero-COVID” policy has contributed to making the Chinese people more robust in the face of pressure from authorities.

According to Apollo News, in many areas in China, there have been more and more occasions when they are locked down; people will directly argue with pandemic prevention and control staff, even breaking down obstacles built by the local CCP authorities.

At around 7:00 p.m. on December 1, the people of Majuqiao town, Tongzhou district, Beijing, got together to pry open the iron gate and tear off the seals at the exits of the blocked residential area.

Many nucleic acid testing stations set up by the authorities in many neighborhoods in Beijing have been dismantled.

On the evening of December 2, authorities ordered a lockdown of the Wanyuan neighborhood, Hongqiao town, Minhang, Shanghai.

At about 6 p.m. that day, people gathered at the entrance and exit of the residential area to argue with the pandemic prevention and control staff about the lockdown order.

Also, on the evening of December 2, at an industrial park in Wuhan city, Hubei province, people acting together pushed the fence erected by the authorities to lock down people.

Under such pressure from the people, the pandemic prevention staff had to give in. The crowd applauded and, one by one walked out of the gate.
