This news was reported on Dec 17 by Dalu.com. According to this news, the CCP’s Central Committee has approved Hu Haifeng as a member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee.

However, this news was immediately deleted. CCP’s media system states that Dalu.com is not an official news outlet but a private media agency.

According to TW, after Hu Jintao retired in 2012, Hu Haifeng entered politics and began working as Deputy Party Secretary of Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province.

Three years later, Hu Haifeng became the Mayor of Jiaxing and became the youngest mayor of a provincial city in Zhejiang.
