James R. Gorrie, the author of “The China Crisis,” recently wrote an opinion piece in The Epoch Times.

In the article, he said that Beijing had been accessing and collecting personal information by offering COVID tests on a global scale similar to Google since the beginning.

It has offered to provide testing labs and facilities in a massive plan to collect data on as many Americans as possible for its strategic plan.

For example, Gorrie cited in his other opinion piece the case of Fulgent Genetics, a DNA sequencing, and disease testing firm operating in the U.S.

Fulgent allegedly had strong ties with Chinese companies like BGI, WuXP, and Huawei Technology. All of these companies are linked to the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the People’s Republic of China State Council and are under the direct control of Beijing.

Bill Evanina is the former U.S. National Counterintelligence and Security Center director. In a “60 Minutes” interview, Evanina compared the testing labs to “modern-day Trojan horses.” He said the true goal of these labs was to help China collect American DNA and start mining their genetic data.

More importantly, as Gorrie put it, without the COVID pandemic, this kind of testing equipment and data mining could not have been implemented on such a large scale.

So why does China collect DNA?

Gorrie warns: “Just as AI and genomics enable DNA manipulation to help the human body fight all kinds of diseases, this same technology can also be used to create unique pathogens that only impact specific people.”

“DNA-specific weapons can target a race, a gender, or even a family or individual with a specific DNA structure.”

“This isn’t just a possibility—it’s a probability, if not already a reality.”
