Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen received foreign guests attending the Taipei Security Dialogue 2022 at the Presidential Palace on November 3.

Heino Klinck, former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for East Asia, delivered a speech strongly criticizing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

According to Da Ji Yuan, Klink said that democratic Taiwan stands in stark contrast to China under the dictatorial CCP rule.

He said the CCP has chosen to compete with all democracies to rewrite the world order, thereby protecting its dictatorship and interests.

Klink added we could imagine what the world would be like if CCP decided on humanity’s rules and standards.

Heino Klinck said that everyone knows that if given the wrong way to deal with CCP, the consequences will be terrifying.

He told the people in the meeting with Tsai that everyone is lucky to live in a democratic country, but also personally witnessed the crimes of dictatorships.

He suggested that the people at the hall should increase their efforts to support Taiwan. Ensure that the Taiwanese can decide their future path without fear of intimidation or retaliation.

Klinck also called on the members of the Democratic Alliance to redouble their efforts to contain the CCP in various fields to ensure that the competition caused by the CCP does not lead to conflict.

In addition, he suggested that people should have faith that even if a conflict occurs, the CCP will not be able to win.
