Beijing authorities announced to suspend entertainment venues in Chaoyang District and Dongcheng District on June 9. The move came after the city found 3 COVID-infected cases in Chaoyang district on the same day. All infected patients reported that they had been to the Paradise Supermarket Bar in Chaoyang District on June 6.

According to the Beijing Health Care Commission, the three cases are located in Xicheng District,  Huairou District, and Fengtai District.

Following the regulations, many communities in Changping and Chaoyang districts in Beijing had informed residents about the closure.

According to mainland media, a residential community in Changping District announced the closure of some of its buildings. All residents are not allowed to go out.

A video shows Banjieta Village, located in Changping District, is restricted on early June 9.

On June 8, the footage shows that a large square cabin hospital in Beijing had been built. The square cabin is a three-floor building now ready to use.
