Chinese National Day is on October 1. This time, a large number of people enjoy the Golden Week holiday that runs from October 1 to 7. As a result, many scenic spots have recently seen more visitors.

According to Chinese media Xin Tang Ren, more than 200,000 people have flocked to the West Lake scenic spot in Hangzhou.

The Huangshan scenic spot in Anhui Province is also crowded with people. Some tourists said that they could only walk less than 1 meter in 10 minutes.

In a video uploaded by Mr. Wu, he filmed himself being stuck on the mountain Huangshan because of the crowded people.

Mr. Wu then recalled the incident. He said that he went up the mountain at 10 in the morning and went down at 6 in the evening. He was stuck on the mountain and he could only walk 1 meter for 10 minutes.

He said, “we can’t get up, we can’t get down, it’s a very helpless feeling.”

Some people even shouted: “Come on, you will pee your pants if you don’t go.”

Huangshan Scenic Area has issued an announcement ahead of the holiday period that the maximum capacity of tourists per day is 25,000 people.

Huangshan Scenic Area said on October 1 evening that reservations would end on October 2 because the number of tickets currently being reserved had reached the maximum capacity.

Besides Huangshan, Hangzhou West Lake was also full of people. On October 1, there were 238.200 visitors to the West Lake Scenic Spot.

Several well-known beautiful areas, including Yudu Mountain Scenic Area, Yungang Grottoes Scenic Area, and Qingcheng Mountain Dujiangyan Scenic Area, were suspended or closed on October 2 due to the spike in tourists.

Other scenic spots reduce the daily tourist reception volume every day.
