Epoch Times Chinese version reported that at 3 p.m. on Sunday (July 31), dozens of pro-democracy activists gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles.

They chanted slogans such as “The army changes the country” and “Mainland soldiers quit the China Communist Party.” A banner with the phrase “Support Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan” also appeared in the crowd.

This demonstration comes a day before China’s regime celebrates the 95th anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) on  August 1.

The PLA has always been accused of being the China Communist Party (CCP)’s army, not of the Chinese people. Because this force, in many cases, accepted the command of the CCP to oppress the people. The Tiananmen massacre is one example.

Jie Lijian, the organizer of the event, said that in other countries, soldiers are protecting their country and people.  But in China, soldiers are ordered by the CCP to shoot and kill civilians and crush students with tanks.

In addition to the Tiananmen massacre, the CCP’s Chinese military or police have been directly involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, the Uighurs, the Tibetans, and the Hong Kong people.

Jie Lijian urges Chinese military members not to become the CCP’s killing machine. He said that August 1st is the date that a civilian killing machine was born. He advised the soldiers to stand up and end the CCP.

Yao Cheng, a former lieutenant colonel of the Chinese Naval Command, believes that more and more Chinese people are becoming aware of the CCP’s evil nature. As a result, more and more people are withdrawing from this organization.

According to data from Epoch Times, as of July 27, nearly 400 million Chinese have announced their withdrawal from CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Yao Cheng believes that withdrawals from the CCP is a common trend, and this is normal simply because the CCP is an evil organization.

He praised The Epoch Times’ Nine commentaries on China Communist Party for its insightful analysis, which made people realize the nature of the CCP. He also praised the volunteers who are supporting the withdrawal service from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. He believes that the wave of quitting from the CCP is unstoppable.
