The government’s agenda for 2020 will be intensely developed, highlighting the improvement of trade on a global scale, as well as elections and impeachment, among other issues.
The president of Americans for Limited Government, Richard Manning, gave an overview of the most important issues for the government and believes that international trade will be prominent, according to his article on Fox News.
Manning first mentioned the improved USMCA trade treaty, an agreement between the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Based on a study by the International Trade Commission, compliance with this agreement would add some 176,000 new jobs and the U.S. economy would increase by $68.2 billion.
Another agreement with Japan is also underway, the first phase of which has already been completed.
Additionally, an agreement with the United Kingdom—after its exit from the EU—and another possible agreement with the EU itself are on the horizon.
Among other issues on the agenda, the appointment of the federal judges who will fill the 50 available vacancies is another delicate task for the Trump administration, which has already confirmed 187 judges in the three years that have elapsed.
Immigration issues, gun control, tax cuts, and infrastructure investments, among others, will also be prominent in U.S. politics, according to Manning.
President Donald Trump has certainly put a lot of effort into his country’s economy, and rightly so.
The high rates of the stock markets, the drop in the unemployment rate, and the increases in salaries are proof of this.
Similarly, the difficult trade negotiations with the Chinese regime also seem to be on the verge of bearing the expected fruits.
President Trump announced that the first phase of the agreement reached by the two countries would be signed on Jan. 15.
“I will be signing our very large and comprehensive Phase One Trade Deal with China on January 15. The ceremony will take place at the White House,” Trump wrote.
“High-level representatives from China will be present. At a later date, I will be going to Beijing, where talks will begin on Phase Two!” he added in his tweet.

In the three years of his administration, Trump has obtained 319 results in 15 categories, which places him in optimal conditions for re-election.
“Promises made, promises kept” is the message on which the 2020 campaign will be built, according to Vice President Mike Pence.
“Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, we are living in a stronger and more secure America with the best economy in the history of this country,” added Pence, according to the Washington Examiner, summarizing President Trump’s achievements during his administration.
Given the results, it is expected that the Trump administration’s agenda for 2020 will continue to provide Americans with confirmation of the successful presidential election.
