While Americans are going through one of the biggest tests in recent times; revealing the widespread fraud by Democrats trying to steal the election, the mainstream media have ignored (once again) the good news from the Trump Administration: unemployment continues to fall and has exceeded the expectations that economists had projected.
The report says, “These improvements in the labor market reflect the continued resumption of economic activity that had been curtailed due to the coronavirus [CCP Virus] pandemic and efforts to contain it. In October, notable job gains occurred in leisure and hospitality, professional and business services, retail trade, and construction.”
Thus, in the six months since the March-April quarantine of the CCP Virus:
- The unemployment rate has dropped 7.8 points from its peak of 14.7%, erasing 70% of the 11.2 points increase in that rate, which was at 3.5% before the pandemic.
- The economy has regained 12.1 million of the more than 22 million jobs lost (12.3 million of more than 21 million in the private sector).
“In October, the unemployment rate declined by 1.0 percentage points to 6.9%, and the number of unemployed persons fell by 1.5 million to 11.1 million. Both measures have declined for 6 consecutive months,” the report stated.
The president has insisted, and Republican leaders such as Gov. De Santis of Florida have followed his advice, on opening up the economy and ending the lockdown measures have seen better results than states run by Democrats.
While the average unemployment rate nationwide is 6.9%, New York has a record of 14.1% and California 11.0% both states are run by two Democratic governors who have kept people under strict lockdown measures even though data from the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) shows that the virus is only deadly in people over 65 with pre-existing conditions.
Despite the media’s constant efforts to demonize President Trump, he enjoys the greatest popularity among Americans from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds.
According to a survey Rasmussen released on Monday, Nov. 16, 52% of Americans approve of the president’s daily job, one of the best figures Trump has obtained in a popular poll.
